WITH REGARD to the all-new Hyundai Genesis Coupe, the 3.8Track has thus far received the lion's share of attention. Zero to 60 in 5.5 seconds, quarter mile in 14.0 at 101.0 mph, 60 to 0 braking in 111 feet, and lateral acceleration of 0.91 g can do that. Of course, all the greatness that is the 306-horse 3.8Track comes at a price—$30,250, to be specific. But what if most that greatness came for about three grand less? Well, say hello to the 2.0TTrack.

As its badge suggests, the 2.0T Track receives a 2.0-liter, 210-horsepower, 223-pound-foot turbocharged four mated to a six-speed manual (base and premium 2.0Ts can be had with a five-speed automatic). Further, unlike most turbo engines, the Hyundai's runs on 87-octane and posts frugal fuel economy of 21/30 city/highway mpg. At the test track, the 2.0T consumed 60 in 6.8 seconds and the quarter in 15.2 at 90.3 mph. But, as with the 3.8 Track, whose ECU cull power at redline in apparent engine-preservation mode, the 2.0T suffered from some oddities of its own—namely, hanging revs— that seem to exist on purpose.

While the 2.0T's times are nothing to be particularly ashamed of, they're also nothing to write home about—all eight sport-compacts in our"5>mall, Fast, Fun" test (May) put up better times. Nonetheless, the 2.0TTrack is a highly capable sports car, posting 0.91 g on the skidpad and erasing 60 in only 113 feet. Even though its numbers aren't superior to those of the 3.8, the 2.0T feels a smidge more responsive and a bit more fun to hustle than the V-6, thanks in part to a 91-pound-lighter curb weight.

At 527,500, th e 2.0T Track costs $4750 more than a base 2.0T, but that premium incorporates the limited-slip, Brembos, and 19s, not to mention Infinity audio, sunroof, rear spoiler, and Xenons. Sure, the hanging revs and somewhat sluggish accel times are concerns, but what Hyundai can't fix, thetuners most likely can. BENTLEY'S 2010 Continental GTC Speed belongs to that rare class of vehicles to which the standard array of automotive superlatives simply does not apply. After all, how can one adequately convey the sensation of accelerating a 5500-pound, leather-clad convertible from rest to 60 mph in a mere 4.5 seconds? Of hitting 195 mph with the top down. Of returning to a standstill via the world's largest production automobile brakes—eight-piston calipers and 16.5-inch carbon-ceramic discs? .
Though essentially a performance variant of the Continental GTC convertible, the Speed is not some stripped-down racer. Sure it has drilled aluminum pedals, but there's no stereo delete option here. Bentley went the other direction and serves up an 1100-watt Nairn audio system—the most powerful available in any production car. The knurled-chrome and leather-paneled gearshift lever of the six-speed ZF transmission further indicate a focus on fine motoring as well as high performance. So do the turned aluminum fascias and use of 12 quilted cowhides to line the sumptuous four-passenger cocoon.
Set atop exclusive 20-inch wheels and 275/35 Pirelli PZeros, the Speed just manages to outsleek the GTC. Some clientele might find it too understated. "Speed" appears only on the doorsills while other signs of the beast—the crackle-black-finished intake manifold, dark-tinted front grille, larger-diameter tailpipes, and rear spoiler—are deviously subtle. Such subtlety evaporates at full throttle. By incorporating new pistons, lighter con rods, and a new crankcase design, Crewe engineers were able to coax 9-percent more horses and 15-percent more torque from the 6.0-liter, twin-turbo W-12: engine while reducing carbon dioxide output by 3.5 percent.This brings output to 600 horses and 553 pound-feet of torque, nearly as breathtaking as the burly wuffle of the tuned exhaust.

With communicative steering and four-way-adjustable air suspension, this all-wheel-drive heavyweight ducks and weaves like the World's Greatest. Even when driven hard, understeer has been suppressed; it surfaces only in moments of extreme driver foolishness before being quashed by the deftly tuned ESP.

This is one humungous laptop that we are talking about and combine with the weight of the thing u might wanna reconsider calling it a portable pc. Eventhough the big size may be a worry, the glossy black pinstripe finish and the chrome trim will sure make heads turn. Among other things u can see how the weight of the screen affects the screen hinges making it wiggle when u shift with the laptop.

Then 18.4' panel gives you a resolution of 1680x945 which is kinda low for something so big. but the panel is still nice for gamind, viewing images or HD videos. The p505 is packed with and impressive haran/kardon sound system which is more than enough for small room listening, though headphones are recommened for larger rooms.

The keyboard was responsive and comfortable enough though you will find it hard to adjust with a tight key positioning. Its has a much praised Synaptics touchpad, even though it did seem to lag a bit, which was frustrating.

In short, the Toshiba Satellite P505 is a multimedia powerhouse that packs an ATI Radeon HD 4650 and a massive 18.4" display. Offering dual drives for optimal performance and storage, this notebook handle all your multimedia needs, while still being able to power through games.

the company that gaves the internet utilities like firefox and thunderbird are now focusing on a music player of sorts - Songbird. (what's with mozilla and birds and animals?) Anyway, the mumerous people who use firefox out there and is reading this with firefox browser will surely understand when i say how filled with extensions and themes it is. Firefox happens to have an extension for everything single thing on earth and themes based on every single thing on earth. so it would be normal if you expect the same from Songbird and deliver it does. The Songbird player also happens to have tons of extensions and cool looking themes (the default, by the way, is not so cool). now even though Mozilla puts up a great competition in eb browser field, the same expertise is not seen with this application. Its kinda lacks something somewhere, and one of the things it lacks is the way it makes the pc drag with certain extension or themes since they tend to take up half of the CPU usage. Anyway, the player as if now is not recommended, unless of course, u r a hardcore mozilla follower and is willing to use it till another better version comes out, which wud be better out soon

Rolls-Royce reveals a smaller and less expensive companion to the Phantom sedan.ROLLS-ROYCE is calling the 200EX a concept, but in all but name this is the platinum-plated brand's much-talked-about upcoming new sedan. Rolls hopes that this smaller, less expensive model will attract twice as many buyers as the regal Phantom.

"Smaller" and "less expensive" are relative terms, of course, when you're talking about the new Rolls, which the company refers to as RR4. Overall length is nearly a foot and a half shy of the grandiose Phantom, but the RR4 is some seven inches longer than a long-wheelbase BMW 7-series. And while the price, expected to fall in the range of $250,000 to $280,000, is a veritable bargain next to the big Roller's $382,000, it's hardly Wal-Mart territory.

The design, by Ian Cameron, hews closely to the Phantom look and includes the brand's signature rear-hinged "coach" back doors. Underneath, there are elements of parent company BMW's 7-series, although the RR4 rides on a longer wheelbase, BMW also will supply the V-12 engine—as it does for the Phantom—but the RR4 engine's output vrill, naturally, come in slightly under the Phantom V-i2's 453 hp and 551 Ib-ft of torque. Expect the production RR4 to debut late this year, with sales commencing in 2010, It will be builtalongside the Phantom in West Sussex, England, and is expected to boost Rolls-Royce's worldwide sales from 1212 (in 2008) to some 3000 units

According what information has leaked out, Microsoft courier concept is an all innovative concept with dual screens and the ability to be folded up like a book.

Further information say that the 7 -inch display will feature support for multi-touch used to control the device, entering text, drawing etc. when closed, the tablet will be protected by a leather cover and with a rear facing camera.

Other information about the battery life, processor speed and all is still hazy but it is a common opinion that wireless connectivity feature will be there. After all, folding, multi-touch pc with duall scree may just not be good enough.

The quickest TT ever is still trying to catch up to the Porsche Boxster.

Audi is ascendant lately, witha string of endurance Tacing wins,
worldwide sales up four percent in 2008 to crest one million for the
first time, and the R8 powering the brand into the supercar arena. So
perhaps it's not so surprising that the company has the confidence to price its new TTS roadster, the hottest version of the TT, within spitting distanceof the Porsche Boxster ($775 more, actually).

Not that it's quite an apples-to-apples comparison. The TTS comes with
more standard equipment, most notably all-wheel drive and a dual-clutch
automatic transmission, if you want a similar whiz-bang gearbox in a
Boxster, you have to shell out a whopping 63420. On topof that, the TTS's
heavily tweaked direct-injected. 2,0-liter turbocharged in-line four puts out 10 hp more than the base Boxster anda significant 44 lb-ft more torque. Audi engineers modified the block and the cyhnderheadas well as the connecting rods, pistons, lutbocharger, and injection.system to make sure the boostedengine wouldn't self-destruct.

The result is a claimed o-to-60-inphtimeaf 5.1 seconds, nearly
matching the more powerful {and $9325 more expensive) Boxstcr S. The
TTS is also quite frugal, considering its performance. Its ETA combined
fuel economy rating of 24 mpg is the same as those of the Suzuki SX4
Sport and the base Mitsubishi Lancer, two cars that would be specks in
the Audi's rearviewmtrror in a drag race.

The TTS drives Uke a very fast, very grippy, and very expensive Volkswagen GTI. We love the GTI.but we want a $50K roadster to have a bit more brilliance in the steering and a bit better chassis balance,
Audi did what it could; it lowered the suspension, fitted
adjustable magnetic dampers, and quickened the reaction of
the Quattro system, but this is still no mid-engine sports car.

Lenovo has long been trying to take over markets making slim laptops again and again, and now it doesn't dissappoint by giving out the thinkpad t400. This thinkpad must have had a lot of thinking on its construction and quality, 'coz its one of the best build qualities out there, if not the best. So you will have to do a pretty nasty job to make it spare parts.Anyway, another great feature that could pointed out for this laptop, is the pre-installed windows 7 os and touch screen.

Now windows 7 has a lot of plus points, among them is that its a really touch friendly os. With this touch screen, u can drag around ur files with ur fingers and do similar things. its like how u do it in touch pad but here you're doing it on the screen.It is a bit expensive, but that can be skipped over with the excellent quality, the touch-screen and the "sexy- windows", window 7.

Samsung is a nice phone, ie., if you ignore the fact that there is nothing new to it. Samsung SGH-T659 is just another phone that wud have done been better released about 3-4 yrs back.

First of all, hen we have the mobile in our hands, we see that its just like any other slider, with flat keyboard and all. Only thing worth mentioning about the design is that the phone is slim.

coming to the features, it has the neccessary features that expect from a mobile in this category, bluetooth, music player, gprs, and 2- mp camera.
The music player is nice but if you go by me, i recommend u use a headphone, 'coz the speaker output has slight tinny effect to it.
The camera by the way is nice. Great picture and video quality but make sure that there enough light, 'coz u dont have flash.

In my opinion, samsung has a lot to catch up in this phone, atleast a renewed design wud have been better.

Microsoft has released the beta version of Office 2010 (available for free to those who preregister for a chance to download and test it). After running it for a few days of intense testing, I'm impatient for the final release. As far as I can telL this should be the smoothest upgrade for Office in many years. If you're used to Office 2007, you'll need no help using Office 2010. Old features remain where they were, although some are now displayed on spacious menus with lots of explanatory text instead of the cramped menus of 2007. In fact, the new features are slotted in so smoothly that it may take you a few moments to realize that they're new. This will also be the first version of Office available in both 32- and 64-bit versions.

There aren't big, obvious changes. As for subtle changes, Office 2010 extends the rib¬bon throughout the suite, adding it to Publisher OneNote, and Outlook's main menu. A new customiza¬tion feature lets you add your own tab and remove some items on the default ribbon.
The suite has replaced the pearl-like Office Button menu with a small, rectangular icon that opens a spacious "Backstage" page with options for saving, printing, and man¬aging files. A new Print menu is especially impressive, with options such as page orientation (portrait or landscape) and one- or two-sided printing instantly accessible instead of buried deep in the Windows Print dialog. And PDF out¬put is finally built-in from the start. Other additions include a screen-capture tool, a background-remover , and document sharing and collaboration functionality via SharePoint.

Office 2010 should keep Microsoft comfortably in the lead in office applications,but it remains to be seen how well Microsoft will fend off competition from Web-based application services such as Google Docs.

Last year, Norton Internet Security 2009 made quite an impression. Symantec rewrote the suite from the ground up for improved performance anc gave the Ul a substantial overhaul. Judg¬ing by the free public beta, Norton Inter¬net Security 2010 focuses on keeping the product's impact small while enhancing malware detection and giving users better access to useful information.

Symantec has long been working to keep unnecessary minutiae out of the user's face. The 2010 beta goes a step further and moves much of its detailed reporting to a new loca¬tion on the back of the main window. Click "Flip Screen" and the main window visibly turns over to show a chart of CPU or mem¬ory usage and a visual timeline of events like scans and detections. Another new interface element. Vulnerability Protection, brings up a list of applications with known vulnerabili¬ties, and Norton Insight checks all the pro¬grams on your system against Symantec's database and identifies trusted programs.

Also, the SONAR 2 reputation-based technology plus standard signature-based detection gives NIS supercharged malware ability, setting new records on our tests for malware removal and detection. Aside from the bummer of adding 31 percent to the boot time, NIS 2010 beta is really an impressive product.
