The upgraded 2010 Honda CBR 1000RR FireBlade Launches soon
To all the Honda Fire Blade fans out here, Honda has recently announced the latest tweaked/upgraded Honda CBR1000RR and CBR1000RR C-ABS. But as for us we can just imagine, how can Honda tweak more in a bike which is so complete be styling or performance.
Performance and style. No two elements are more important on a sportbike, and the Honda CBR1000RR has them both in spades. Of course, when a bike is bred on the racetracks of the world using DNA gleaned from Honda’s MotoGP championship-winning machines, would you expect anything but the best? And the CBR backs it up, packing state-of-the-art features like Honda’s Electronic Combined Anti-lock Braking System (C-ABS) and the revolutionary Honda Electronic Steering Damper (HESD) that leave other literbikes on the trailer. Winning Road Racing World’s “2009 1000cc Shootout” merely confirmed the CBR1000RR’s supremacy, with 2010 certain to continue its legacy of class-defining power, light weight, handling and looks.
The new Fireblades get:
- Sharper rear styling with revised shape and new tail-light with clear lens
- Sharper end can appearance with aluminium cover
- New graphics and colours
- Increased crankshaft inertia mass
- Stronger crank
- Dual Stage fuel injection
The new colours are:
- Graphite Black (White/Black stripes)
- Digital Silver Metallic/ Pearl Fire Orange
- Tweaked HRC tricolour
- Graphite Black (Black special)
The C-ABS model gets only black treatment.
The Bike will be launched soon and hopefully it will make its way to the Honda’s Showrooms in India by next year.
